A Chinese-themed, party wedding, Chippenham Park Gardens - Mimi & Ben

The wedding of Mimi and Ben took me to the gorgeous Chippenham Park Garden, an all-rounder of a venue with an incredible renovated Georgian house, stunning gardens, a lakeside summerhouse for the ceremony and fabulous marquee. The instant I turned up, I knew that it was going to be great day - the champagne was popped, music was playing, there was a buzz of excitement whilst being very calm.. The venue was completely under control and filled with gorgeous summer light.

The ceremony was outdoor at the beautiful summerhouse, which was adorned with Chinese decoration as a nod to Mimi’s heritage. From the moment the emotional couple were announced husband and wife, the day was filed with laughter! The fun-packed reception saw delicious canapés, bottomless bubbles and mojitos (yummmmm - what a perfect summer drink!), expert beer pong, their waistcoat wearing pupper Alfie, an epic girls V boys drinking game.

A delicious three course meal then took place in the marquee overlooking the lake with some fantastic speeches from the Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Men. The party was one of the craziest dance floors I’ve ever set eyes on - especially once Mimi and Bens surprised their guests with DJ Luck & MC Neat on the decks! Inflatable bananas flying around everywhere… Something I didn’t quite understand but enjoyed nonetheless haha!
