A beautiful and simple rural destination wedding, Villa Bissiniga, Lake Garda - Lauren and Tom

I am conflicted over what to write here - on what hand I’m still so utterly speechless and in awe of this wedding that I’m tempted to not babble but on the other, I could gush about it alll dayyyyy loooong!

Lauren and Tom spent a lot of time telling me that they hated having their photographs taken, that they would feel very uncomfortable and I’m 99% sure that at one point (before the wedding) Tom actually said he didn’t really ‘get’ having a photographer but luckily Lauren put her foot down and boyyyy am I glad she did and that they went ahead and chose me!

Their gorgeous wedding was in Lake Garda, a part of the world that I’d never been to before but I cannot rave highly enough about; everything about it was utterly beautiful and it’s so easy to see how Lauren and Tom fell head over heels in love with it and wanted to share it with their friends and family on the happiest day of their lives!

Italian weddings always hold a little bit of charm that I can’t quite put my finger on; they leave me with a twinkle in my eye and a spring in my step and this was no different - this all took place at the stunningly striking Villa Bissiniga, up in the rural Italian hills. Only leaving the venue for the actual ceremony in the local town hall (just check out those ceilings!)

There was phenomenal food, outstanding music, beautiful and simplistic set up, an abundance of beaming faces AND a pizza wedding cake…. YUP!!! It was planned to perfection by the wonderful Ginny, an amazing Garda destination wedding planner.

Lauren and Tom, congratulations again - thank you so much for having me and letting me be a part of your Big Day!
